Who's behind it

Twenty years making things run themselves. First physical robots. Now AI.

I'm Manuel Ardeiro, a technology enthusiast. I've been working with robotics and automation systems since 2004: first installing and maintaining physical dispensing robots in pharmacies, then managing technical operations with multidisciplinary teams that installed and maintained different types of robots. Later on I moved into software automation: flows that handled repetitive, no-value-added tasks, such as bulk document downloads, automatic reading and classification, report generation, etc. Today I'm taking another step: I'm leaving working for others behind to start my own business and bring all that knowledge and experience (and the new AI tools) to the day-to-day of small businesses and freelancers.

As you can see, I didn't jump on the AI bandwagon now that everyone's talking about it. I've spent two decades installing and maintaining machines and designing tools that do the work people shouldn't have to do. And that's exactly the problem I solve for my clients.

That's where Ardeiro.AI comes from: to help freelancers, small businesses and SMEs adopt and adapt these tools and, with them, change their lives.

In short, it's been more than twenty years at multinationals in the health and technology sectors, learning from the inside how a large company works: processes, procedures, metrics and management layers, systems with 24/7/365 support and critical SLAs in hospital and pharmaceutical environments, where a process simply cannot fail. Operational experience I rounded out with ESADE's PMD — a general management programme covering strategy, finance, marketing and operations — to understand the client's business beyond the technical tool that solves it. Bottom line: I apply the rigour of mission-critical multinational processes to every automation I build, but without the rigidity or the endless timelines.
